is an adventure destination community nestled in a wilderness valley located in the north Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada. The community is a recreation hub surrounded by national, provincial and community parks, man-made lakes, alpine mountains and waterway rivers.

The Selkirk and Monashee Mountains surround the community. The Columbia and Illecillewaet Rivers are the two waterways flowing into the community. Upper Arrow Lake and Lake Revelstoke are the two man-made lakes anchoring the community. Each mountain, river and lake plays a big part in the type of activities and attractions enjoyed when visiting Revelstoke.

In the summer months activities enjoyed in Revelstoke include hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, birdwatching, rafting, cycling, swimming, camping, boating, backpacking, wildlife viewing, canoeing, fishing, water skiing and river kayaking.

In the winter months, after the snow and temperatures have fallen, the activities include downhill skiing, snowboarding, heli skiing, CAT skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling.

Mount Mackenzie, also referred to as the Revelstoke Mountain Resort, is the ski hill destination in the community of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. The ski resort boosts great powder snow conditions and the highest vertical of any ski hill in BC, Canada.

When exploring the community of Revelstoke the trails, alpine meadows, glaciers and viewpoints located in the Mount Revelstoke National Park are worth a visit. Other trails which provide endless hours of enjoyment for hikers, sightseers and mountain bikers include the Begbie Falls and MT. Macpherson Trails.

In town the River Trail explores along the shores of the Columbia and Illecillewaet Rivers plus connects to the downtown core of the community. It is a paved walkway used by walkers, joggers and bikers that enjoys a great river view of the many sights and sounds of the community.

Revelstoke provides many of the services important to travelers including a good selection of accommodations, tours, gas stations, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, banks, internet, laundromat, retail stores, shops and boutiques.
