	Cottonwood Falls Park is a small community park with flower gardens and a waterfall. The park rests at the foot of Cottonwood Falls and on the shore of Cottonwood Creek highlighting a Japanese Garden. [ more info ]
	Cottonwood Lake Park is a day use park. The six hectare lake is a popular park destination for such activities as fishing, canoeing, boating, birdwatching, picnicking and swimming. [ more info ]
	Grohman Narrows Provincial Park is a 10 hectare day use park. The park protects the sensitive habitat of several plants and animals while providing visitors with exceptional views of the Kootenay River, Narrows Island and Groham Narrows. [ more info ]
	Gyro Park includes an outdoor pool, manicured flower gardens, short walking trails, sitting and viewing benches, a jungle jim playground, a viewing gazebo, washrooms and a lookout point overlooking Nelson. [ more info ]
	Kokanee Creek Provincial Park consists of sandy beaches, a large delta, a spawning channel, a visitors centre with a wildlife museum, miles of hiking trails, two campgrounds and day use facilities surrounded by forests of fir, hemlock and pine trees. [ more info ]
	Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park is a 32,035 hectare wildlife park well known for its snow capped mountain peaks, 30+ alpine lakes, varied wildlife, wilderness hiking trails, drainage creeks and three glaciers - Caribou, Kokanee and Woodbury. [ more info ]
	Lakeside Park is on the shores of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake and is one of the more popular community parks in Nelson because of the beautiful sandy beach, a waterfront walkway and the many water activities. [ more info ]
	Lockhart Beach Provincial Park is a small recreation park located south of the resort village of Crawford Bay. The three hectare destination park is situated on the shores of Kootenay Lake and includes a fine sandy beach and a small campground. [ more info ]
	Old Growth Hiking Trail is a wilderness loop trail exploring giant, ancient cedar forests along the banks of the Kokanee Creek. The main trail is about 1.5 kilometres and as a loop trail it extends to 2.5 kilometres. [ more info ]
	Pilot Bay Provincial Park is a marine and recreation park on Kootenay Lake, The 347 hectare park was established in 1964 and is best known for its historic lighthouse, protected cove providing safe moorage for boats and its wilderness campsite and hiking trails. [ more info ]
	Sproule Creek Trails is a wilderness hiking trail system created to protect a turn-of-the-century mill site, the creek habitat and an old wagon road. The trail system includes three recreation trails - the Millsite, Westside Loop and East Fork Trails. [ more info ]
	Waterfront Pathway is a paved recreation trail exploring the banks of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. The 3.5 kilometre walking path stretches from the City Wharf on one end of the waterfront to Lakeside Park. [ more info ]
