At the highway junction there are three highway routes leading into the interior of BC. Hwy #3, Hwy #97 and Hwy #5. Best route involves traveling north from Hope on Highway #5 to Kamloops. From Kamloops travel Hwy #1 east to Shuswap Lake and then to Revelstoke. From Revelstoke travel south on Highway 23 to the Shelter Bay-Galena Bay ferry which crosses Upper Arrow Lake. From Galena Bay travel south on Highway 23 to Nakusp, BC.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada: Travel Hwy #1 Hwy west to Banff National Park and then continue to the provincial border of British Columbia. Continue driving west on Hwy #1 to the community of Golden, BC and then to the Glacier National Park and then eventually ending up in Revelstoke, BC.
