Ainsworth Hot Springs

Ainsworth Hot Springs is a small resort community located south of Kaslo, BC. The centre of attention is the natural hot spring pools situated up on a ridge over looking Kootenay Lake and the Purcell Mountains. [ more info ]

Mountain Views Buchanan Lookout Trail is a short hiking trail situated in the wilderness backcountry hills near Kaslo, BC. The Forestry Lookout Tower, the hiking trail and the rock bluff viewpoints are some of the highlights. [ more info ]

Kaslo Wagon Road K&S Wagon Trail is an old access road, once traveled by pioneers, located in the backcountry wilderness forests near Kaslo, BC. The 12 kilometre wagon road is a multi-use trail exploring forests and views. [ more info ]
SS Moyie Heritage Site

SS Moyie Heritage Site is a paddle wheel passenger steam vessel from the early 1900's situated in Kaslo, BC. The SS Moyie is recognized as a National Historic Site and a BC Landmark. Open to public as a museum. [ more info ]

Wardner Trail is a local hiking trail in the community of Kaslo starting at the end of, what else, Wardner Street. The hiking trail is very steep, with plenty of switchbacks, should take 30 -60 minutes depending on fitness level. Rewards are great as views from the trail include the community of Kaslo. Kootenay Lake, Purcell Mountains and the Kaslo River.
Cody Caves Provincial Park is a 63 hectare park providing adventures underground exploring limestone caves with an interpretive guide. Features of the cave tour include views of stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, soda straws, rimstone dams, waterfalls and flowstone.
