SS Moyie Heritage Site is a paddle wheel passenger steam vessel from the early 1900's situated in Kaslo, BC. The SS Moyie is recognized as a National Historic Site and a BC Landmark. Open to public as a museum. [ more info ] |
| Wardner Trail is a local hiking trail in the community of Kaslo starting at the end of, what else, Wardner Street. The hiking trail is very steep, with plenty of switchbacks, should take 30 -60 minutes depending on fitness level. Rewards are great as views from the trail include the community of Kaslo. Kootenay Lake, Purcell Mountains and the Kaslo River. |
| Cody Caves Provincial Park is a 63 hectare park providing adventures underground exploring limestone caves with an interpretive guide. Features of the cave tour include views of stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, soda straws, rimstone dams, waterfalls and flowstone. |
